Toshiba e-STUDIO Fax Machine
Toshiba's line of IP Fax-capable e-STUDIO fax machines can send faxes natively using the T.38 protocol, so no traditional phone wiring or analog gateway is necessary. Pictured is a Toshiba e-STUDIO2510AC.

This guide applies to the following Toshiba e-STUDIO MFPs. Ensure your device's model name is somewhere in this table.

2. SIP Settings

In the Toshiba MFP's web UI, navigate to the SIP Settings section.

Make the following service port changes. The "Reception Port Number" is used by the fax machine's SIP protocol. If you only have one MFP on site, use 5080. If you need to add more, make sure each fax machine has a unique port. For example, your first fax machine will use 5080, the second 5081, the third 5082, etc. Additionally, the T.38 Reception Port Number should always match the RTP Reception Port Number. You can leave all fax machines at a single site set to 5004.

Then, for both the Registrar Server Setting and Proxy Server Setting sections, locate the Primary subsection and add the following details:

3. Verification

After you save the page, you should see the Registrar Server Setting -> Primary -> Connection Status field update to reflect that your fax machine is registered to your T38Fax SIP Trunk.
